Graham LOVES helping make jello and checking on it every hour to see if it is ready.

ok!! I have been super busy busy busy lately. I finally have a few minutes to post.
SO. Christmas went well. Christmas Eve we were at my mom's house all day which was lots of fun. She made my most favorite meal in the world -- Chicken Florentine. DELICIOUS!!! After spending all day at my moms we went to the candlelight church service, then home. Jake and I got the babies to sleep and stayed up til around 12 wrapping gifts. It was kinda fun... :) Oh. & we weren't supposed to get each other gifts but he surprised me with an opal ring and necklace from Kays. so sweet. i love him!!
Christmas morning was nice. Graham was VERY excited. He kept saying WOWWW!! He opened all of his gifts himself and most of Mia's. She didn't care. She was more worried about eating wrapping paper.....yeah....
Gramma came to visit for a few minutes around 11 i think.. and then Jake's family came over and spent the whole day with us. We had a great time. Ate a ton of lasagna and just played with the babies.
Christmas was fantastic but my house was a disaster. It took all week to clean it up and get organized for the next hectic weekend -- New Years and Grahams birthday!! WHEW!
So Saturday we hosted the family NYE party at our house and it was fantastic. Lots of family and friends. My favorite part was when we were all in a big circle in the kitchen singing some Bob Segar song and graham got in the middle and started dancing. So precious. and Mia slept through the whole stinkin thing! I am so glad i started sleep training her early. She is an awesome sleeper!!!! (unlike her brother who won't sleep unless i am in bed with him).
At midnight we watched the ball drop, all kissed our SO's and then sang Happy Birthday to Graham and he got to open one gift, a hotwheels car, of course.
Singing happy birthday is when it really hit that I have a TWO year old! How does time go by so fast?! It is unreal. I love that boy.
His party was great. We had snack foods and cake and ice cream. And he got a lot of nice gifts.
What an awesome day to be born... January first!! lucky boy.
So this week we have just been taking it easy, relaxing and recovering.
Except Mia decided she wants to crawl now and is officially into everything. Oh and no more baby food. She just won't have it. Anything I eat, she eats... (withing reason of course)
